MOISTURE EVALUATION

Moisture can cause mold formation and structural deterioration is not caught as soon as possible. You should call a moisture detection professional as soon as signs of moisture appear. The Air IQ team are experts at moisture detection and only use the most up to date technology to ensure we find every bit of moisture in your home.

Once the moisture areas are located, we document and evaluate the affected areas so that the correct action may take place, whether it be to start the drying process or remove infected building materials that have been severely damaged by the moisture.

OUR EXPERT EQUIPMENT

There are visual ways to identify moisture problems at a glance. However, the source and size of the problem are hidden and only the use of special equipment can aid in the detection process.

The moisture detection equipment that Air IQ uses include multiple versions of moisture meters and infrared thermal imaging cameras. By using this equipment, the results are far more detailed and measurable when assessing where moisture is coming from.

Thermal imaging camera and moisture meter results are used in the process of moisture mapping. This process is essentially the assessment of these results to map out where the moisture is coming from and how high the level of moisture is in each area we find to be affected.
