VOC Testing
WHAT IS VOC?
VOC stands for Volatile Organic Compounds which are carbon based chemicals that evaporate into the air at room temperature. They start off as solids or liquids before evaporating into a gas and becoming hazardous to the health of those within the property. Just like formaldehyde, they can sometimes be detected through their strong odor but some VOCs have no odor at all. This is why it’s so important to have a VOC test done on your home by the licensed professionals at Air IQ. We’ll perform tests to ensure your home is free of any and all possible VOCs that can occur.
HOW WE TEST
Air IQ uses specialized VOC testing machines to take in-depth samples that can test the air for a wide variety of chemical compounds. The test results are typically available 1-2 weeks after the samples are submitted and we assess a detailed report and provide you an explanation of what chemicals are present and what action needs to be taken to clear the home of these chemicals.
